" ... a professional and personal pleasure ..."
I found working with Sharon Gubbay to be a professional and personal pleasure. Her skills as an oral historian and video biographer have produced not only an excellent product for me and my family but also have enabled me to conceptualize my own life story in a much more interesting way than I would otherwise have managed.

" ... a delightful experience ..."
I recently reviewed the DVDs of my "memoirs" and I was delighted with how you had edited them and added photos and music. The photos of relatives added so much to the story, and the ones that you researched yourself made earlier times much more vivid and understandable. The music also evoked certain eras of my life and added an ambience.
I was initially quite nervous about how it would all go, but your empathy and expertise in drawing out half forgotten memories put me at ease. All in all, it was a delightful experience, and I am very happy with the result. I`m sure my family will treasure this story of our heritage.

" ... capable and friendly hands ..."
I did not know what to expect when my daughter offered me the services of a professional oral historian as an 80th birthday present. To my surprise and delight, I found that the experience, in the capable and friendly hands of Sharon Gubbay, was both pleasant and worthwhile. I enjoyed recalling and reviewing the stories of my life and sharing them with my family. It was also fun surprising grandchildren with crazy notions like party-line telephone and ice-delivery, that had been part of my youth.
